BTD5 vs BTD6 Bomb Tower and Boomerang Popping Power

So, with BTD6 just being recently released, I’ve played a ton of it. I’m now rank 50 and have played almost every map in the game with the exception of the expert maps.

I’ve noticed that in this game, Round 63, 76, and 68 are much harder than in the original BTD5. I hypothesized that certain towers got nerfed, so I decided to do some testing. Let’s investigate the pierce of certain high-popping power towers, which include the glaive ricochet boomerang and the bomb tower.

Note: my method of testing the pierce of all towers mentioned in this post are through the sandbox mode. I set the spacing of the bloons to 0 and the count to 300, and I would send one red bloon, which would send 300 of them on top of each other. With BTD5, I use sandbox mode with regrow farms. Note that I did not test out Bloons Monkey City or Bloons TD Battles.

Tempest Trials – Auto-Battle Fail & Suggestions for Auto-Battle

Recently, while playing the Tempest Trials, I use the auto-battle mode, as usual. However, when I left my phone on the table and came back a few minutes later, I was met with this on the fourth map: Screenshot_20180227-200606153 Turns!? I immediately stopped it, surrendered, and found a new team. A new team lets you “reset” the turn count. I was confused and amazed. The computer apparently wanted to move Hector upwards, but wanted to move Fjorm and Ike downwards, but was unable to. My Maria doesn’t have her weapon to prevent her from going Kamikaze.

Tempest Trials – Zelgius Spawning Fail?

So, I was playing the tempest trials the other day, and I noticed something very strange occurring on this specific map of the tempest trials: A Zelgius Fail.

Zelgius does not spawn with a weapon. Shocking!

Proof of Zelgius not Spawning with a weapon:

A Bug?

According to some people on reddit, this seems to be a bug in the way enemies spawn on a map. A slight oversight on which enemies spawn on this map. The only part that makes this annoying is that Zelgius literally stays still if he’s the only one left, since he cannot run away if he’s the only one left. And with my horse emblem team, that means I have to run all the way around the right side to get him. This costs me several turns, which slows down my overall speed stats, so I sometimes get a B-rank on my speed.

I have encountered Zelgius at least three times in this tempest trials so far. All of those times he did not spawn with a weapon.

Dear Nintendo,

Please fix this bug, as it’s causing a lot of players to get annoyed that Zelgius does not rush in as every other enemies do.
