It’s been a couple months since my last post on Fire Emblem Heroes. I’ve been busy at work and started to miss some quests. This is not the first time for me, and it seems that the last time I missed some quest was also around this time of the year.
Let’s see what’s happening lately in FEH. Intelligent Systems introduced new type of Hero – Rearmed heroes. It’s kind of like a seasonal type of hero where the hero will only appear on certain banner. We can fodder the hero, but the hero will not disappear from barracks. But we can only do this once per rearmed hero. It’s an interesting concept and perhaps the most enticing part of this new type of hero is the potential of copying rare skills. It is quite expensive though copying skills. So, it’s not for everyone.
That’s pretty much it on the new stuff in FEH. Now, let’s see the latest survey on Reddit on the state of FEH.
How much money do players spend on FEH?
- 21.9% spend $0 or F2P
- 26.8% spend between $0.01 – $100
- 22.5% spend between $100.01 – $499
- 9.7% spend between $500 – $999
- 10.2% spend between $1,000 – $5,000
- 3% spend more than $5,000
This is the lowest F2P level since the beginning of the game. More and more people are accepting FEH pass. For those who were hoping IS to drop the FEH pass, my suggestion to you is to forget about it. IS will never change that. It’s never going to happen. It’s very unlikely for IS to remove something from the game. It only happened once – removal of defending game mode type. They adjust difficulties a few times – Tempest Trial, Resonant Battle, Aether Raids. They introduced new summoning variety, 4* special but they’ve never change something from pay to free. They change something from free to pay – Spark.
What about FEH’s bottom line?
It’s trending down still, but it’s not as drastic as the early years. It’s seems to be stabilizing to just below 2 億.
Closing Remarks
Although revenue keep dwindling down, unless something major happens or the cost to maintain FEH suddenly increases by a lot, I don’t see FEH coming to an end soon. I see FEH to keep going for a while.
