Fire Emblem Heroes: Eirika, How Good Is She?

I summoned a five-star Eirika a long time ago.

Princess of Renais. Ephraim’s twin. Cares dearly for her brother. Her kindness has sometimes put her in danger. Appears in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Even though I summoned her a long time ago, I often don’t use her since I already summoned Ephraim way before I summoned her. Her use in battle is similar to the way I use Ephraim.

I got a pretty bad IV Eirika: mine is -Spd +Res. Eirika’s main use is to be a be a stat buffer, a support unit. Her special weapon has a built-in Home Attack 2. I inherited Swordbreaker 3 instead of using her Drag Back skill. Her default C Skill is Hone Spd 3. She’s able to buff 3 stats at once if you give her the fortify res seal, and she can buff all 4 stats if you give her rally defense, which I don’t recommend.

Pros:
  • Amazing stat buffer: Weapon, Assist Skill, C Skill, Seal; Helps with -blade tome users, which are in the current meta.
  • More speed and res than Ephraim.
Cons:
  • Low attack
Skills to Inherit:
  • Reposition: although you could inherit Rally Defense, reposition usually is more useful than 4 more attack to your -blade tome mages. Rally Defense is less useful than reposition.
  • Swordbreaker 3: She comes with Drag Back, but I find that swordbreaker helps me win more battles. Drag Back is only useful in specific cases, where swordbreaker is better all-round.
  • The rest of the skills are optional, as she isn’t your main attacker.
Teammates:
  • Any -blade tome users are able to be used as they can get +9 damage (with Atk+3, Spd+4, Res+2) per attack.
  • Eirika with reposition can help move mages around after the mages attack.
Conclusion:

She is a very nice support unit. Use her if you have -blade tome mages in your team. I don’t use her as much since I have Ephraim. There are currently more red units in the game than any other type of unit, so Ephraim is able to have more Weapon Triangle advantages than Eirika is. The IVs of Eirika don’t matter as much, as she’s not the main one going into battle. With normal speed, she’s able to make sure she doesn’t get doubled by the majority of the other units.
