The GO battle league season just ended and it’s time to claim the end-of-season rewards.

I played over 1,000 battles and won just over 500 times.
I only won 500 times just to complete the GO battle league timed research. Here are the rewards after I won 400 and 500 times.
Is all this worth it for the many amount of hours I put into the GO battle league? Maybe. I got tons of rare candies from the win streak rewards.
The strategy I followed was to keep my win rate low-ish. I would basically alternate the following sets: win 4 out of 5, and losing all 5 (surrender). There are lots of others that are doing this strategy as well, since it is quite difficult to lose all 5 matches in a set near the beginning of the season when your ranks are still low. Lots of others seem to be following this same strategy.
I wish the XL rare candy rewards were better though. For winning 500 battles and only receiving 10 rare XL candies, Niantic sure is very stingy with these.
